Transportation is offered for this tour from a location in the North, South, East, or West regions of Mauritius. Due to the location of this tour, fair pay for our guides, vehicle capacity, and fuel-surcharges we price this service separately based on these factors. If you would like us to provide pick-up and drop-off services for your experience, we ask that you add the appropriate transportation selection for the number of people in your party you would like us to accommodate, and specify in your booking the location where you would like us to meet you. Our vans can carry up to 4 individuals. For example, if you are a party of 8 travellers staying in the south of Mauritius, please select 2x South Island Transportation.
Private & Shared Groups
We offer both private and group experiences for this tour…
Booking a private experience for any number of travellers up to 12 implies you and your party gets private access to the tour and guides.
Booking a shared group experience allows booking for up to 2 travellers to join a group of up to 12 travellers with whom you share the adventure.
Both experiences offer the same benefits and hands-on guide involvement as we maintain our guest-to-guide ratio per group size in general.

About your hike
The 7 Waterfalls tour is known for its lush forests, green landscapes and unique waterfalls. On this 6-hour guided tour, the highlights include a hike to four of the seven waterfalls and a stop at the national forest's arboretum where you will walk amongst unique gigantic vine trees and finally rest at the volcanic lake where the prominent Hindu temple is located. With your local guide and every detail looked after, you'll discover the natural beauty of Mauritius at its best.
On this hike, you will will discover four of seven waterfall of Tamarind one after the other. This hike lasts more or less 4 hours, not including the swim breaks. With a local guide who knows every nook and cranny, you can rest assured you'll be seeing a mind-blowing out-of-Jurassic Park waterfall and swim at the perfect swimming hole.
NOTE: The track is rocky, slippery and gradually steep - if it rained the day prior to the hike.

Staying hydrated is essential on this hike. Prepare at least 1.5L of water. Please ensure you have sufficient nutrients to avoid fatigue.

Please make sure to dress accordingly for this hike. Hands and feet should be free for the rock scrambling part of Le Morne mountain. Please make sure that you wear hiking or trail running shoes with good grip.
7 Waterfalls is a considered a challenging hike, it is rated 3.5/5 in terms of difficulty. Ensuring proper precaution allows for the best experience and to avoid unwanted injury or cause for concern.
