This tour is about real beauty of Mauritius, that is away from all tourist hotspots. We saw beautiful nature and beaches, swam in the waterfalls, visited hidden caves and everywhere we were alone! We can definitely say, that it was our best experience of the whole stay:) Jay will take care of everything and you can just be there - in the moment, with whole ocean in front of you, soaking the atmosphere and real beauty of the island 🤍

Another epic hike with local guide Vickram. Utterly stunning views, with a free natural spa thrown in. If you choose to do this without a guide as some did you will miss the best and safest routes and the little secrets hidden amongst this hike. We actually did 6/7 and this is challenging, we were told the 7 is more so and can see why due to the heights. The rockpools were a welcome, refreshing reprieve from the heat. The fish nibbling our feet was a lovely little surprise! We even got to see a monkey minding his own business in the trees. Not to be missed on a trip to Mauritius.

We had a great day out with Freddy and Gaelle abseiling the Tamarind falls. We were very grateful as they accommodated us on short notice after the other company we were looking to go with let us down. Fate must have played a hand as we couldn't have dreamed of better guides. They really brought an element of fun which helped to alleviate our fears. This is an activity that pushes the boundaries mentally but the Motrek team turned it into a fun adventure. We had 2 teen boys who said it was the best part of their holiday. Motrek definitely get the thumbs up from us

Ahhh!!! How do I find the words to describe Jenny and Jay!? They are AMAZING!! I tried to look for an operator that could offer me something similar to what they were advertising, I could not find anyone that came even close to what they advertised. Reasons why I would recommend them: 1) We felt so safe! This was a major factor for me as I was travelling with my daughter (7yo), 2) they are so knowledgeable of the Island and 3) the trip was planned to fit our every need and they didn’t even look at the time! Our time was theirs. I would 1 billion times recommend them 🌸 We love you guys, you definitely made our trip memorable 🥰

We had a very adventurous and fun day with Jay on the WILD South Tour. The reservation itself was very easy and Jenny helped a lot by answering all my questions. Jay took us to amazing places and we were the only ones there, so this enhanced the whole experience. At the end, they were left with some “natural candy”, sugar cane sticks that Jay explained how they can chew on them. :))

Our guide Jenny was an excellent tour guide throughout the entire trip. Her knowledge of the landscape and specific nature spots was impressive. We went hiking, swam in waterfalls, rockpool with amazing waves in the background. Visited beautiful caves. The best of all was that we were all alone in those fantastic places. It was such an unforgettable experience for all of us!

Jay with Mauritius Adventours tailor makes the tour for you according to your interests and he took us to places we never knew existed because they are not “advertised” that meant we were the only ones there. We also went to waterfalls that you can actually swim in, jump from the top if you are that adventurous 🙀 We regrettably only got to know about Jay at the end of our vacation.

If you're looking to explore Mauritius but not the usual tourist hotspots. Then we recommend contacting Mauritius Adventours We saw and did so much, thanks to a well thought out itinerary. We got to see a lot of the island on the journey to the destinations too. Jenny was a fabulous guide & host who was very attentive to us and made sure we were safe on the hikes to the locations. She was keen to capture some stunning pictures for us, which was perfect as its probably the only holiday where we have photos - other than a selfie - with us both in the pictures!! We had some silly poses too and had so much fun doing them!

Absolute amazing day with Mauritius Adventours! Cannot speak highly enough of Jenny and the team from initial enquiry to end of the tour, we received exceptional service! Jenny's top priority was making sure our almost 2 year old was safe on the hiking and then making sure we saw all of these amazing places at the right time of day! Being a fantastic photographer was also a huge bonus! Jenny has been a font of all knowledge about so many things on our trip and I can not recommend them enough!

I had such a fantastic time climbing Le Morne. Jai Raj was so friendly and reliable and really tailored to me and my family’s circumstances.
