Due to the location of this tour, fair pay for our guides, vehicle capacity, and fuel-surcharges we price this service separately. If you would like us to provide pick-up and drop-off services for your experience, we ask that you add the appropriate transportation selection for the number of people in your party, and specify in your booking the location where you would like us to meet you. Our vehicles can carry up to 4 individuals. For example, if you are a party of 8 travellers staying in the south of Mauritius, please select 2x South Island Transportation.

Booking a private experience for any number of travellers up to 14 implies you and your party gets private access to the tour and guides.
Booking a shared group experience allows booking for up to 2 travellers to join a group of up to 14 other travellers with whom you share the adventure.

A hike to the 7 Waterfalls/Tamarind Falls.
A visit to the national forest's arboretum where you will walk amongst unique gigantic vine trees.
A trip to a crater lake where the prominent Hindu statues and temple of Grand Bassin are located.

Staying hydrated is essential on this hike. A good breakfast is a MUST, as well as a miniumum of 1.5L of water or a drink of your choice.

Please make sure to dress accordingly for this hike AND make sure that you wear hiking, trail running or walking shoes with good grip.
7 Waterfalls/Tamarind Falls is rated 3.5/5 in terms of difficulty. Taking the necessary precautions ensures a smoother experience, helping to prevent injuries and avoid any unnecessary worries.

An unforgettable adventour!
The Central Wilderness was a perfect mix of adventure, moss forests, and refreshing waterfalls and swims. Our guide, Jenny, was excellent, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience while sharing interesting facts about the area. Each waterfall was more beautiful than the last! After the hike, we stopped at the volcanic lake with the hindu temple and enjoyed delicious authentic local food. Absolutely recommend this tour for families who love nature and adventure!

Another epic hike with Adventours!
Utterly stunning views, with a free natural spa thrown in. The rockpools were a welcome, refreshing reprieve from the heat. The fish nibbling our feet was a lovely little surprise! We even got to see a monkey minding his own business in the trees. Our guide Vickram was excellent, putting safety first at all times, and very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora. Not to be missed on a trip to Mauritius.
